Chris Micklatcher, Attorney & CPA

In 1980, Mr. Micklatcher graduated from the Univ. of Michigan with a BBA in Finance and Accounting, and in 1984 from Wayne State Law School with a J.D. specializing in Tax Law. Mr. Micklatcher has worked with Ernst & Whinney, one of the Big Three Accounting and Consulting firms (now known as Ernst & Young) in their Detroit and Boston offices. In 1986 Mr. Micklatcher was promoted and transferred from the Detroit office to the Northeast Regional Headquarters located in Boston, Massachusetts. Mr. Micklatcher specialized in implementing accounting, compliance and tax systems for clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies to small start-up operations.

In 1992 Mr. Micklatcher started Chris Micklatcher & Associates, a full-service accounting and law practice in northern New England. In 1998 Mr. Micklatcher sold his accounting and tax preparation practice to a national tax preparation company and his law practice to his law partner. He moved back to his hometown of Battle Creek, Michigan to continue his tax resolution business. For the past twenty-five + years Chris has focused his business on financial workouts between the tax authorities and his clients.
